API 6A Hydraulic Actuated Surface Safety Valve

TEC supplies high quality pneumatic and hydraulic actuators for on and off-shore surface safety systems, used on secondary master valve and/or wing valve of Christmas tree, flow lines, header valves, gathering lines and pipelines. These actuators can be used on the full line of TEC gate valves in wellhead and pipeline applications. TEC can also respond to unique configuration requirements and actuate valves from many other manufacturers.
TEC's Hydraulic Actuator features simple configuration, ease of maintenance and adaptability. It will automatically close the reverse acting gate valves with the loss of control pressure by spring return (fail-safe close), and will open automatically when the control pressure is restored. TEC actuators can be delivered already assembled on valves or as actuated bonnet assemblies ready to mount on valves from any manufacturer.

Quick disconnect mechanism between the actuator and the gate valve allows quick and easy removal and replacement of stem packing;

3. Non-Pressurized Spring Housing
The non-pressurized housing protects for the actuator cylinder, piston and springs, preventing any injury to personnel or equipment in the event of debris or tools impacting the housing.

1. Over-Pressurization Protection
A pressure relief device protects the piston and cylinder assembly from over-pressurization and protects personnel from injury. It is located externally for easy field inspection and replacement.
2. Improved Corrosion Resistance
Internal non-stainless components can be powder coated with Xylan and Polyester TGIC, providing proven corrosion and environment resistance
3. Wire-cutting applications
For wireline operations, a dual set of of coil springs provide a wire shearing force capable of shearing wireline cable or slickline, with zero valve body pressure.
